Articulators

Arcon versus Non-Arcon, what is the difference?

Arcon: Said of an articulator whose condylar balls are part of the lower branch of the articulator. This type most closely resembles the reality of the human mandible (anatomical).

Non-Arcon (or Antiarcon or condylar): Said of an articulator whose condylar balls are part of the upper branch.
